My Grandma Zalia's Fool Proof Pie Crust

4 cups flour
1 3/4 cup shortening
1 Tbs. sugar
2 tsp. salt
Mix in mixer  

Then add:
1 egg
1 Tbs. vinegar
1/3 cup ice water

Mix and let set in refrigerator an hour before using.  Makes two 9 inch pie crust bottoms.
